Scholarship Opportunities – Fredericton area & New Brunswick students

Mary Frances Cronin Memorial Scholarship – A $1,000 bursary for a Grade 12 Fredericton High School student who played JV or Varsity girls’ soccer and is entering a publicly funded postsecondary institution.

Frank Fraser Joslin & Blanche I. (Hood) Joslin Scholarship – A $5,000 bursary for York County students entering either an accredited agricultural or veterinary program in Canada.

Donald MacMillan Memorial Bursary – Two $1,000 one-time bursaries awarded annually, one to a female graduate from NB and one to a female graduate from PEI—entering their first year of public postsecondary studies and demonstrating leadership and volunteer involvement. Ringette
players receive special consideration.

Andrew “Andy” Williams Memorial Scholarship – Two $1,000 awards recognizing community service, academics, athletics/coaching, and financial need (FHS & Leo Hayes).

Murray & Shirley Bailey Scholarship – $1,000 bursary for students from FHS, Leo Hayes, or Nackawic High School who attended Keswick Valley Memorial School for at least three years.

Fredericton Chamber of Commerce Scholarship – A $5,000 bursary for employees of Chamber members — or their children, spouses, or partners.

Provincial Artisans Bursary – Up to $25,000 in funds available to NB residents with disabilities entering or attending postsecondary education. Awards range from $700 to $2,500.

Timmy Munn Memorial Scholarships – Up to three $1,000 entrance scholarships recognizing athletics, academics, and financial need. Available to students graduating from a Fredericton‑area high school (FHS, LHHS, ESA, OHS, or DPCS), preferably planning to attend a local college or university. Submit an official transcript; there is no set application form. Forward applications to the Fredericton Sports Investment Scholarship Committee at 117 York Street, Fredericton, NB, E3B 3N6, or by email to grants@fsinb.ca, and must include a return address and phone number.

Marianne Limpert Scholarship – $1,000 for competitive swimmers graduating from École Sainte‑Anne, Oromocto High School, Fredericton High School, or Leo Hayes High School who are pursuing post‑secondary studies, continuing to swim competitively, have achieved at least one
National Qualifying time in the current swim year, and maintained an 80% graduating average.

Isabel Adams Coburn Memorial Scholarship – Two or more $2,000 bursaries for students from the Keswick Ridge/Mactaquac area attending UNB.
