St. Mary’s Career Fair event at the Maqiyahtimok Centre, Fredericton, on Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
This event is co-hosted by St. Mary’s First Nation and Women’s Equality, with the aim to give Indigenous students in the area an opportunity to explore interesting and in-demand career paths. Participating students explore a room full of booths from a variety of sectors and receive career mentorship from Indigenous and non-Indigenous mentors who are actively working in these sectors.
The Career Fair takes place from 9 AM to 4 PM, and each rotation of students has about an hour to explore the booth room and connect with mentors. Water, snacks, and busing are provided for all participating students and teachers. There is also an opportunity for students to win prizes during the event!
